We’re looking for an experienced HR professional to provide comprehensive support to a dedicated directorate, playing a key role in delivering a high-quality, customer-focused People service.
This is a 3-month FTC to cover someone who is out of the organisation for some time.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the People leadership team, contributing to a collaborative, agile, and forward-thinking HR function.
- Supporting, advising, and coaching managers on People policy and procedures
- Building and maintaining relationships with key managers quickly and effectively
- Supporting and advising managers on all aspects of Employee Relations casework
- Working with line managers to support employee/team member development and to manage performance
- Working with managers on role requirements and profiles
- Potentially assisting the HR Project Manager and others, with various projects and tasks
- Keeping on top of various admin related to the role
- Various other tasks related to the HR function, based on need at the time
- Previous HR Advisor experience is essential
- You must have some level of HR Advisor experience from a Public Sector setting
- Strong ER experience - varying complexity levels
- Comfortable and able to manage and prioritise workloads with conflicting demands
- Experience working in a unionised environment would be beneficial
- Ideally, you will be CIPD Level 5 qualified
- 3-month FTC - to start ASAP
- c£37,500 - £40,500 annum
- Hybrid working, 2-4 days in the office
- 35 days holiday, including bank holidays (would be prorated accordingly)
