Are you an experienced and dynamic Employee Relations Advisor?
We are looking for a proactive ER Advisor to support a well-established business on a 6-month FTC basis. Reporting to the HR Director, the ER Advisor will support managers and the wider HR team through various projects and a range of ER cases.
Due to the focus of the role, this will be predominantly site-based (East/West Yorkshire.) There is some flexibility around working hours. Likely 1 day a week from home will be possible.
- Provide expert guidance and support across a range of ER cases, providing clear, consistent guidance
- Advise and coach managers on best practices for managing employee relations matters
- Support the resolution of complex employee issues and disputes
- Lead or support investigations and hearings
- Ensuring the people processes are robust, fair, and aligned with policy and employment law
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is up to date
- Assist with various HR tasks and projects across the wider HR team
- Strong background in Employee Relations, with a proven track record in resolving complex ER issues in a fast-paced environment
- Confident to work independently while also supporting others
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law and best practices
- Highly organised and methodical approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
