We’re working with a growing organisation in Leeds that’s looking for an experienced HR professional to join them as a Human Resources Team Lead on a 3-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to extend to 6 months.

Reporting to the Head of People Operations, this is a hands-on role where you’ll be leading a small but busy People Operations team — while also getting stuck in with day-to-day tickets, employee queries, and process improvements.

 

    Package:

    • Leeds, hybrid – 2-3 days a week in the office
    • 3 month FTC, with potential for extension to 6 months
    • Full-time (37.5 hours)
    • £45,000 - £55,000 per annum DOE

     

    The role:

    • Leading, motivating and developing a small team
    • Handling employee queries and operational tasks via the support desk
    • Supporting the integration of new processes and HR systems
    • Overseeing payroll and benefits processes
    • Managing contractors and ensuring IR35 compliance
    • Driving process improvements and enhancing the employee experience

     

    About you:

    • A confident People Ops professional with team leadership experience
    • Comfortable juggling operational delivery and strategic input
    • Strong payroll and systems knowledge
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
